Design and display

The Realme 10 features an a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate which is the same screen we sare on the Realme 9 releasesed last year.

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G version, on the other hand, is equipped with a 6.7-inch 120 Hz screen which is an improvement over Realme 9 Pro+. Moreover, it can display 10-bit colors and produce a maximum brightness of 800nits. The screen has a nice 61-degree curve to it which spells renovation.

Features and performance

The Helio G99 chipset by MediaTek is what powers Realme 10. The phone coems with 8GB of RAM, which should be more than enough to carry out daily tasks, and can store up to 256GB of data.

Unfortunately, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes with the older gen Dimensity 920 5G in the Middle East and not the latest Dimensity 1080 5G chip which is what is shown on Realme’s global website. Though the 920 5G is not a bad CPU, folks in the UAE and Saudi should expect the same hardware that Realme offers in other parts of the world.

The Realme 10 and Realme 10 Pro+ 5G support Ultra Volume Boost, which can increase volume by up to two times at the expense of music quality.

The Realme 10 comes with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0. Since the Pro+ version needs better features, it also received an OS upgrade to Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 which has some new handy features such as personal information pixelation on screenshots or music control features on the always-on display.

The vanilla version doesn’t have much to discuss since it received fewer lenses than Realme 9. The dual cameras on this device are equipped with 50 MP (Wide) and 2MP (Depth) modules. Although this model lacks the Realme 9’s ultrawide camera, Realme claims that the new camera setup will increase picture overall quality.

The usual triple camera setup is back for Realme 10 Pro+ 5G with 108 MP (wide), 8 MP (ultrawide), and 2 MP (macro) modules.

The 108MP Samsung (S5K)HM6 1/1.67″ sensor is the primary camera of this beast, featuring 3x lossless zoom and night mode to capture amazing pictures in the dark. The 8MP Sony IMX 355 sensor is used on the Ultrawide camera on this device, which also features night mode.

The final camera is a 2MP 4cm fixed focus macro camera with no night mode, and it can’t capture any video.

The pictures are taken in 12MP mode by default, but the 108 MP option is also available for a detailed picture. Remember that the 108 MP photos are nearly 40MB each, so you can fill the storage quickly.

Battery & Charging

The 5,000mAh battery seems to be the new standard for Realme, as its new phones all have the same capacity. In times of charging speed, though, Realme 10 features 33W fast wired charging, but the Pro+ 5G model can charge faster thanks to 67W SUPERVOOC Charge.

According to company the RealMe 10 Pro+ 5G can last up to 22 days on standby and 20 hours of video playback.

Does Realme 5G support a 5G connection?

The current model on the market is only capable of 4G and LTE, but a 5G version of the phone was recently deputed in China with slight differences in the specs.

What is the best feature of Realme 10 Pro+ 5G?

The most distinguishing feature of this smartphone is its price. It was expected that Realme 10 Pro+ 5G would cost more considering its camera setup and huge battery

How fast does Realme 10 pro+ charge?

Although the company claims that the phone has super-fast charge, the phone’s large 5,000 mAh battery would take more than an hour to fully recharge.
