In late 2021, Oppo announced the Find N series, the company’s exceptional first attempt at the world of foldable technology. After twelve months, the Find N series raises to support two new members: the larger Find N2 and its smaller sibling, the Find N2 Flip.
The Oppo Find N2 sounds like a great new foldable, fixing some of the original phones shortcomings. If now features an LTPO AMOLED display and a Li-Po 4520 mAh battery as its highlights. Would this be enough to land the Oppo Find N2 in our list of best phones or best Android phones? We’ll have to wait to see that.
Pricing and availability
Oppo has already announced the Find N2 in China, starting at roughly US$ 1,150 (AED 4,250) for the 12GB/256GB model and US$ 1,300 (AED 4,750) for the 16GB/512GB version. Oppo claims the device is heading for global availability, hoping to arrive in most countries early next year in three primary colors; Black, Green, and White.

Design and display
The Oppo Find N2 has a 7.1″ inner display that can reach 1550 nits at its peak, which is much brighter than its predecessor and should provide a highly viewable experience in bright conditions. Additionally, the outer 5.54″ display slightly outsizes the Oppo Find N.
This display also features a wide array of features, such as a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth and responsive user experience, HDR10+ playback should provide deep contrasts, a resolution of 1792 x 1920 for clear and crisp visuals, and an 87.3% screen-to-body ratio, which is pretty impressive for its class.
Oppo completes the Find N2 episode with an aluminum frame, a foldable Gorilla Glass Victus on the front, and a glass or eco-leather back.
Features and performance
The Oppo Find N2 should be able to take on any task with no hassle thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12/16GB of RAM, and 256/512GB of internal storage. While this isn’t the latest Android processor- which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found on the Xiaomi 13 Pro, it’s still flagship level.
The Find N2 also features a new generation of hinges that Oppo claims are 67% slimmer, lighter, and much more reliable than its predecessor, dropping the device’s weight to almost 233g. Oppo also emphasizes that the infamous crease has faced a massive reduction this year, referring to it as “almost invisible.”
Software
The Oppo Find N2 runs on Android 13 and includes ColorOS 13, Oppo’s exclusive user interface. The UI aims to provide users with a more efficient and intuitive experience and does not fail. The device also comes with a premier Market, which offers a broad selection of apps and games that hopefully satisfies a wide range of users.
Cameras
The Find N series has received its most significant overhaul in the camera setup, so the Oppo Find N2 should exhibit considerable improvements when taking photos. It’s a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens that should capture stunning images with sharp details and vibrant colours.
The primary lens is especially impressive, using Sony IMX890 with OIS technology for excellent light sensitivity and improved clarity. The Oppo Find N2 also features a dual-LED dual-tone flash, Hasselblad colour calibration, and HDR capability to guarantee image quality.
Regarding video recording, the Oppo Find N2 can shoot 4K UHD footage at 30/60fps, or you can opt for slower frames like 1080p at 30/60/240fps. In short, the Oppo Find N2 should offer all the tools required to capture fantastic images and videos.
Battery & Charging
The Oppo Find N2 offers a massive 4520mAh Li-Po battery, which should be more than enough to keep your device going all day. With average use, the Oppo Find N2 must easily last up to two days without needing to be charged, and if you’re a power user, you’ll still get a good 8-10 hours of use on a single charge.
Oppo claims the Find N2 supports fast 67W wired charging so that you can top up the battery in 42 minutes. Additionally, the phone supports 10W reverse wired charging to charge other compatible devices. The phone, however, has lost the wireless charging that came along with last year’s model.
