Along with the update to Find N2, Oppo also announced its new Oppo Find N2 Flip that competes with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the Motorola Razr. This “new” smartphone design is becoming quite popular and it’s no surprise to see Oppo join the flip phone market.
Having said that, the Chinese company was in no rush to produce this modern-looking flip phone and wanted to deliver something unique. Was the long anticipation worth it? Considering that Oppo makes an appearance on our list of best Android phones, we have high hopes from the Find N2 Flip.

Design and display
Like all other flip foldable phones, the Oppo Find N2 Flip also has two screens. The cover screen is 3.26-inches in in size, which is larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Motorola Razr cover screens. Users can check notifications or the time on this 60 Hz screen without having to unfold their phones.
The main screen is AMOLED and 6.8-inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The high refresh rate combined with the 1,600 nits brightness means the the phone should deliver a good outdoor experience. This LTPO display also supports HDR10+ to display colors more vividly.
The Find N2 Flip’s exterior panels are made of the older Gorilla Glass 5, and there is no mention of dust or water resistance.
Features and performance
As MediaTek had promised that the Dimensity 9000+ will be available in smartphones by the end of this year, we see this chipset that drives the Oppo Find N2 Flip. We’ll have to wait for actual performance Numbers once the phone is released.
Oppo has also equipped the device with 16 GB of RAM- something you only see in a select few smartphones. Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available in three configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB.
Software
Oppo Find N2 Flip will be powered by ColorOS 13, Oppo’s Android 13 adaptation. This operating system includes many unique features such as Dynamic Computing Engine, Smart Home Screen Management, and Aquamorphic Design for UI for seamless menu transitions.
Oppo has added security and privacy features on its new OS, claiming it to be one of the most secure operating systems for smartphones.
Moreover, ColorOS 13 has a better layout and system design than the previous version, as well as updated fonts and typography for better readability. It is also known for its high customizability and a large number of widgets that can be added to your screen to display useful information.
Cameras
This flip phone does not have a telephoto camera, as is typical for flip phones- they’re not necessarily the best camera phones you can buy. Instead, the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 50 MP wide lens and an 8MP ultrawide module on board.
The selfie camera has a 32 MP module, but the advantage of having a flip phone is that you can use the main camera for selfies while previewing them on the cover display.
MariSilicon X chip will handle image processing. This chip, according to Oppo, has best-in-class power efficiency, real-time RAW processing, and enhanced RGBW Pro Mode.
Battery & Charging
Oppo went all-in on the battery, packing the Find N2 Flip with the largest battery we’ve ever seen on a flip phone. The battery capacity of the Oppo Find N2 Flip is 4,300mAh, and with 44W wired charging capability, this phone will be fully charged in an hour. What is lacking is support for wireless charging, a feature that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is capable of.
