Design and display

OnePlus 11 has faced a major design overhaul. The new device is made of an aluminum frame, a glass back, and a Gorilla Glass Victus+ for the display.

OnePlus 11 has a punch-hole selfie camera on the display’s top left corner instead of a pop-up or a notch. It is also waterproof with an IP68 rating and comes in multiple color variants, including Forest Emerald and Volcanic Black.

The new flagship has a 6.7-inch LTPO3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the OnePlus 11 features an improved in-display fingerprint sensor that’s faster and more accurate than before.

The display offers HDR10+ support and a wide color gamut for an immersive viewing experience when streaming movies and playing games. It also features the DC Dimming technology found in its predecessor, which reduces eye strain by automatically adjusting brightness levels.

Features and performance

The OnePlus 11 offers some impressive features and performance. The new flagship is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, one of the most powerful chipsets available on the market. It also comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, allowing users to store plenty of content.

Regarding graphics performance, the OnePlus 11 features the Adreno 740 GPU, offering smooth gaming experience and lag-free multitasking.

Additionally, the phone supports 5G connectivity, allowing users to get lightning-fast data speeds and increased network coverage, and regarding security, it’s equipped with a fingerprint scanner, and facial recognition technology.

Finally, the OnePlus 11 provides improved sound quality due to its dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support, which make for an immersive audio experience when playing games or watching videos.

Software

Regarding software, the OnePlus 11 runs on the latest version of OxygenOS, OnePlus’s custom Android skin. One of the big draws of OnePlus phones is that they provide a more refined Android experience than what you would find on many other Android devices.

OxygenOS is known for its minimalistic design, smooth animations, and intuitive user interface. Additionally, OnePlus has included valuable features such as Game Space for gaming optimizations, Quick Pay for faster payments, Zen Mode for focus, and Digital Wellbeing for device usage tracking.

The OnePlus 11 comes preloaded with Android 13 with some extra features from OxygenOS. There’s also support for 5G networks, NFC for payments, and tap-to-pay services like Google Pay.

Cameras

OnePlus 11 offers a top-of-the-line triple-camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultrawide camera. Additionally, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The new flagship also includes 2x optical zoom for the primary camera and visual image stabilization for both the rear and front cameras. Additionally, the OnePlus 11 features AI capabilities, Nightscape mode, Hasselblad Color Calibration, and Dual-LED dual-tone flash for enhanced photos.

Battery and charging

The OnePlus 11 has an impressive battery life. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast charge technology meaning it charges faster than previous models while also providing better battery life. In addition to intelligent thermal protection, the device offers safety features for a safe and secure charging experience.
