The New iPad Air
The iPad Air, last updated in 2022 with a sleek design and a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, is expected to get the M2 chip, the successor to the M1 chip that powers the latest MacBooks and iMacs.

iPad Mini Updates
The iPad mini, which has not seen a major update since 2021, is rumoured to get the A16 Bionic chip, the same chip that runs the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. The A16 Bionic chip would boost the speed and graphics of the iPad mini, as well as enable features like Face ID and 5G connectivity.

The iPad mini is also said to fix the ‘jelly scrolling’ issue that plagued some users of the previous model.
iPad Changes
The entry-level iPad, popular among students and educators, is also due for an upgrade. The current model, launched in 2022 with a 10.9-inch display and an A14 Bionic chip, could get a spec bump with a faster processor and more RAM. The entry-level iPad might also see a price drop to make it more affordable and competitive.
Apple is not expected to hold a special event for these new iPads but rather announce them via a press release on its website. The new iPads could be available for pre-order soon after the announcement and ship to customers in the following weeks.
As expected, Apple has neither confirmed nor denied these rumours, so we will have to wait and see what the company has in store for us this week. Here is a summary of the expected new iPads:
