ASUS ROG’s first gaming soundbar, the ROG Gjallar soundbar, is now available in the US at $599.99. The 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos unit, announced in July, is built around multiplayer: the all-in-one control hub carries integrated microphones designed to make the headset optional.
ROG Gjallar soundbar: specs and features
The Gjallar’s soundstage comes from two up-firing channels, full-range drivers and tweeters, plus a 6.5-inch 65W subwoofer that connects wirelessly over a dedicated 5GHz link to keep latency down. It is named after Gjallarhorn, the horn that calls the gods to Ragnarök in Norse myth — which may or may not be a comment on competitive lobbies.
The audio control hub is a small unit with an LCD display for volume, playback, input and EQ control, and two built-in microphones using Acoustic Echo Cancellation. ASUS says the AEC filters teammate voices and in-game audio coming from the speakers while an AI beamforming algorithm suppresses PC-fan and room noise, so multiplayer chat works without a headset on.
Connectivity covers USB-C, HDMI 2.1 with eARC and 4K@120Hz passthrough, optical, AUX and Bluetooth 5.3, plus two USB-A ports for wireless dongles and other kit. It works with Windows and Mac PCs, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series consoles, the Nintendo Switch, mobile devices and TVs. A web-based Gear Link tool and a mobile app handle the finer EQ, microphone and lighting settings.

Any of the above, over whatever cable or wireless link suits the device. The Gjallar is available in the US now at Best Buy and the ASUS US store, where it is listed as either sold out or not yet stocked — “Notify Me” is the button either way, per Engadget.
There is no confirmed UAE listing or price yet — the soundbar does not appear on Amazon.ae or local retailer shelves as of writing. At the US rate it would land around AED 2,200 before VAT, in line with the rest of ROG’s 2026 lineup, so local availability will come down to ROG UAE’s regional plans — the same channel that brought us gold-plated 20th-anniversary peripherals earlier this year.
