Peet’s Coffee has opened its first Peet’s Coffee UAE drive-thru locations, bringing its craft coffee to commuters in Dubai’s Motor City and Al Wasl. According to Peet’s Coffee’s announcement, the new outlets opened on 12 January 2026, designed to offer a faster service for customers on the go.
What you need to know
The move into drive-thrus is a clear nod to Dubai’s car-centric lifestyle. Peet’s is targeting busy commuters, families on the school run, and anyone who wants a decent coffee without the hassle of parking. The Motor City location caters to early starters and late finishers with its 5am to 1am hours. The Al Wasl branch keeps slightly more conventional hours, running from 8am to midnight.
UAE expansion continues
These two openings are part of a wider push across the Emirates. Peet’s recently opened stores in Ajman City Centre and a kiosk at Burjeel Hospital. The brand plans to open more locations soon, with Maryam Island and Al Furjan scheduled for later this month, and Al Mutarid to follow in February. A new menu featuring matcha-based drinks is also set to launch on 15 January.
Locations and details
The main draw here is convenience. Both locations are now open and operating daily. While it’s too early to say if it will make our list for the best coffee in Dubai, the brand’s reputation for quality is strong. Specific menu pricing for the UAE has not been released, but we expect it to be competitive with other premium coffee chains.
