Miral will invest more than AED 12 billion in Yas Island over the next five years, funding new attractions, theme-park expansions and additional hotel capacity in Abu Dhabi.
Miral Yas Island investment will cover attractions and hotels
The programme will introduce new immersive rides and experiences, expand existing attractions and add hotel rooms across the island. Miral said the spending is separate from the previously announced Disney Theme Park Resort project.
Specific project names, room numbers and opening dates were not disclosed. The company said the investment will also support job creation and skills development in Abu Dhabi’s tourism sector.

How the plans fit Yas Island’s next phase
The investment builds on a destination that already includes Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, CLYMB and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. Miral also manages Yas Bay Waterfront, Yas Marina and Etihad Arena.
The company said the five-year pipeline supports Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030. Gulf News reports that the new programme covers rides, upgrades and hotel rooms, while The National reports that the wider plans include further hospitality development.
