Majestic Mind Games raises $1.45m for a roguelite where you fight as three heroes at once

Jeddah studio Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45m from Merak Capital and Impact 46 to grow its Steam roguelite Tri Survive beyond PC.

Saudi studio Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45m in a round co-led by Merak Capital and Impact 46, the latest sign of money moving through the kingdom’s games sector. PocketGamer.biz reported the raise on Friday.

The Jeddah-based indie developer’s debut title, the action roguelite Tri Survive, launched on Steam in September 2025. The hook is in the name: you control a team of three heroes at once rather than the usual one. The studio is building for PC and plans to expand select releases to console and mobile.

NEOM is listed among the company’s backers. Majestic Mind Games is a graduate of the NEOM gaming accelerator and a previous winner of the Best Games Startup prize at the MENA Games Industry Awards, per Arabian Business.

“This marks a major milestone in our journey, and brings us closer to achieving our vision of becoming one of the key contributors in the local gaming community as well as participating equally on the global stage,” said co-founder and CEO Majed Anbar.

The round adds to a crowded year for Saudi games investment. Merak Capital and Impact 46 co-led a $1.5m raise for Saudi studio Ash Games in July, per Wamda, and Merak has a strategic partnership with Savvy Games Group. Add the Public Investment Fund’s $55bn EA buyout and the kingdom’s stated target of $13.33bn in gaming GDP by 2030, and the same Saudi funds keep co-signing the region’s games deals.

For players, the practical effect is modest: Tri Survive is on Steam, which works in the UAE like anywhere else. The round matters further up the chain, where regional studios keep raising and the money keeps coming from Riyadh and Jeddah.
