Logitech’s MX Keypad is a compact nine-key controller for developers, AI agents and productivity shortcuts. The programmable LCD keys can launch commands, run macros and open tools without sending users hunting through menus.
Logitech MX Keypad launched on September 8 at $99.99 in the US. The company’s official product page lists the device as available in Graphite, while 9to5Mac’s launch report details its developer and AI focus.

Logitech MX Keypad puts coding shortcuts on dedicated keys
The keypad has nine full-colour LCD keys, with two additional buttons for switching between pages. Logitech says users can create up to 15 pages of controls, with app-aware profiles changing the layout for software such as VS Code, Slack, Chrome and Figma.
The free Logi Options+ app handles shortcuts, saved prompts, scripts and macros. Logitech’s Logi Marketplace adds plugins, profiles and icon packs, while the Logi Actions SDK lets developers build their own integrations in C# and Node.js.
Logitech developed the MX Keypad with GitHub. It includes GitHub Copilot integration in VS Code and three free months of Copilot Pro+ for new and existing users, redeemable through Logi Options+. Logitech also lists community plugins for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, including agent-status tracking and terminal controls.
MX Keypad price and compatibility
The keypad connects over USB-C and works with macOS 13 or later and Windows 10 or later. It measures approximately 3.6 by 3.1 inches and weighs 96 grams. Logitech’s US store lists it at $99.99; a UAE price or local availability was not listed in the regional storefront search checked for this article.
The hardware is aimed at people who repeatedly run the same commands, prompts or app actions. That includes developers moving between an editor and terminal, or anyone who has turned a shortcut sequence into a small personal ritual.
For UAE buyers, the US price should not be treated as an AED price. Logitech’s regional availability and local retailer listings will need to be checked before a local figure can be added.
