Ghost of Yōtei is getting a Complete Edition on 1 October, Sucker Punch Productions has announced, bundling the base game with a new narrative expansion, a single-player combat survival mode and the co-op Legends offering. It arrives around the game’s first anniversary, and the studio’s chosen celebration is more Ghost of Yōtei.
The sequel has reportedly sold 4.8 million copies on PS5 since its October 2025 launch, per Alinea Analytics estimates.
What’s in the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition
The new story expansion, Echoes of Sekigahara, splits the game between present-day Ezo and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. Nagato, a figure from her past, arrives in Ezo; the present-day half opens a previously unseen valley once held by The Snake and his Vipers, while the past returns to the Battle of Sekigahara and the moment before Atsu came home. New enemies, heavy weapons, armour sets and dyes come with it.
Most Wanted is a new single-player combat survival mode and Sucker Punch’s spin on a roguelike. Bounties start runs, kills earn perks, and further characters unlock as you go — Atsu fights with dual katanas, Oyuki favours the kusarigama, and Nagato wields a yari.
The Complete Edition also adds new tracks for Watanabe Mode across the whole game, extra photo mode stamps, additional New Game+ cosmetics and new trophies for both expansions, for those who keep score.
Price, upgrade and pre-order bonus
The Complete Edition costs $69.99, or about AED 257 at the UAE store’s peg, and includes everything from the Digital Deluxe Edition plus the Charm of Hokkyokusei. Owners of the base game can upgrade for $14.99, about AED 55 — the anniversary discount for having been there first.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the co-op mode whose major updates ended in April, is bundled here for up to four players. Pre-orders placed by 30 September unlock the Sakai Armor on 1 October, a throwback to Jin’s family armour from Ghost of Tsushima.
