Fable Gets a First Look

Xbox and Playground Games finally showed off the first proper look at the Fable reboot. The IT Crowd’s Richard Ayoade looked to be playing a starring role in the game and was heavily featured in the trailer (also, apparently, he is a human giant?). The game has no release date yet, but from what we can tell, it seems to be a Fable experience, complete with the dry British humour the series is known for.
Avowed Gets a Release Window

Obsidian gave us a first proper non-CGI look at its upcoming fantasy RPG, Avowed. The trailer showed the game’s spellcasting, sword combat, and other fantasy elements, as well as spiders, bears and lots of caves to explore. The game is set to release exclusively on Xbox platforms next year.
New Starfield Story Trailer

We got yet another look at Bethesda Game Studios and Todd Howard’s Starfield. The trailer highlighted the game’s story and had many establishing shots of planets, ships and all the sci-fi space stuff you would expect—the game releases on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Libery Dated

Keanu Reeves took the digital stage to give us a first look at CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the first expansion pack for 2020’s Cyberpunk 2077. Besides the interesting fact that this was shown at the Xbox Games Showcase (I guess CDPR is miffed at Playstation, eh?), the game also got a release date: September 26, 2023. It will be out on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S.
Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws Announced

Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment (the developers behind The Division games) is making a brand new Star Wars game. As for now, all we know is that the game is scheduled to release in 2024.

…And so is Persona 5 Tactica

Persona 5 Tactica is a Fire Emblem-style tactics take on the world of Persona 5. The game features a new chibi art style and will release on November 17 on Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Announced

Senua’s Saga Gets a Weird New Trailer

A new trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was shown at Xbox Games Showcase, and it’s a dozzy. While the trailer doesn’t go in-depth with what Senua has been up to, the developers did drop a release window for the game – 2024.
Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Revealed

The follow-up to Yakuza: Like a Dragon has been officially announced. The game is called Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and the new trailer shows Ichiban washing up on the shores of Hawaii completely naked. The game releases on Xbox and Windows next year.
Still Wakes The Deep Announced

The Chinese Room, the developers behind the terrific Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, has revealed their new game: Still Wakes The Deep. The game is about exploring an underwater oil rig and looks like a chilling experience. It’s out on PC and consoles in 2024.
Don’t Nod’s Next Announced

The developers behind Life is Strange, Don’t Nod, have announced Jusant, a rock climbing game that will release on Xbox and GamePass this fall.
