Kraft, the developers behind the widely popular battle royale, PUBG, has announced InZoi, a hyper-realistic Sims game that allows the players to become a “god” (thanks, GamesRadar).

InZoi is one of Krafton’s “self-developed” games and is scheduled to release sometime next year. The game promises “endless new stories in various forms of life” and gives players minute control over the character’s lives and their daily activities.
According to Krafton, players can see characters go about their daily lives, customize characters, establish relationships, and change a character’s schedule, the weather, and even the city. There is also a Build Mode and a Director’s Mode, which is what apparently makes players “god-like”.
Here’s how the official blurb for the game goes: “Do you have a life you’ve always dreamed of? Do you need a unique experience that blurs the line between reality and imagination? In InZoi, you can freely control the world like a god and make your ideal life a reality. Also, rather than simply living the life given to you, you can become the protagonist who leads the life you want. It’s time to create your own story at InZoi, where infinite possibilities await!”

Is it just me, or does the blurb sound ominous and maybe a little sad? Anyway, there is not much information about the game except for the trailer above, the 2024 release window, and that the game is developed using Unreal Engine 5.
If you want to see more of InZoi, Youtuber Acottonsock has a great breakdown on her channel.
