Horizon Forbidden West is easily one of PlayStation 5’s best games to date, and with the Burning Shores DLC, developers Guerilla Games proved that they have many more stories to tell in the Horizon universe.

So, it’s not surprising that Sony is planning to re-release the game as a single bundle with the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition. The new edition was spotted on the Singapore rating board (via ResetEra), confirming that the compilation will feature the original game and its post-release downloadable content.
The ratings show the PS5 as the only platform, so Sony plans to release the new edition for its next-gen console only (Horizon Forbidden West was also released for the PS4, but the DLC was PS5-only).
However, this raises several questions. Will the new bundle release for PC as well, considering the game was released nearly two years ago? Sony has been pushing out its exclusives to the PC platform lately, with the likes of Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection being available on Steam after their stint on the PS5.
Another aspect to consider is that the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition may not be released in the Middle East because its DLC was banned in the region due to LGBTQ content. Since Burning Shores is included, and it doesn’t seem likely that Sony will release a special censored version for the region, it seems possible that the compilation will not make it to some countries in the Middle Eastern shores.
Horizon Forbidden West debuted to rave reviews, scoring an impressive 88% on Metacritic, while its DLC, Burning Shores, raked up 82% on Metacritic.
