Rockstar Games announced today that they will release the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 (or whatever they decide to call it) on December 5 at 5pm UAE/4pm KSA.

The news comes following a tweet from the developers, which doesn’t say much except the time and date. It doesn’t even mention the game’s name, but we can assume it’s for GTA 6 – unless they suddenly decide to reveal Bully 2. Or Rockstar Table Tennis.
Last month, Rockstar confirmed the trailer saying, “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”
“Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about – without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us.”
The confirmation came after months of rumours, speculations and leaks, so it will be good to see what the money-making wizards at Rockstar have in store for us. Curiously, Rockstar will air the trailer two days before The Game Awards, which will live stream on December 7 (or early morning December 8 for MENA peeps). Could we expect actual gameplay at the award show, or will Rockstar skip it entirely? We shall have to wait and see.
If, after the trailer, you are hankering for some Grand Theft Auto and you are subscribed to Netflix, the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will launch for free to all subscribers on December 14, 2023.
