Dubai-founded fitness software company Enhance has raised $18.2 million in equity and venture debt to expand its personal-training platform in the United States. Global Ventures provided the equity and Stride Ventures supplied the venture debt, with the split between the two not disclosed, according to FwdStart.
The Enhance funding follows the company’s move from an on-demand training service into enterprise software for gym operators. Enhance says it has reached more than 700 clubs globally, supports 15,000 personal trainers and processes over 500,000 booked personal-training sessions each month.

Enhance funding will support its US expansion
Enhance entered the US market in January 2025 and says its software is now used by major gym groups including Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym USA. The company’s new capital will go mainly towards expanding in what it describes as the world’s largest gym market.
Revenue has grown at an average annual rate of 65% since 2019, the company says. It estimates the global personal-training market at $42 billion and is targeting the operational gap between gym memberships and the training services sold alongside them.
“We are delighted to add growth capital and to diversify our capital structure, from a position of strength. We are becoming the global operating system for Personal Training.”
Tarek Mounir, founder and chief executive of Enhance
Mounir told Gulf Business in June that the business began in Dubai in 2018 and had grown to more than 700 locations. The company says its software covers bookings, trainer management, payments and performance data, while its AI tools help identify members at risk of leaving and highlight areas where trainers need support.
Enhance’s UAE base remains part of the business
Enhance operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar. GymNation is its anchor GCC partner, with Enhance running the chain’s personal-training operation across its UAE, Saudi and Bahrain locations; Saudi Arabia is its fastest-growing market outside the US.
Global Ventures lists Enhance as one of its portfolio companies. The investor has backed the company across multiple rounds, while Stride Ventures is providing debt for the latest raise. The terms beyond the $18.2 million headline were not disclosed. Enhance’s expansion comes as fitness technology attracts larger rounds, including WHOOP’s $575 million funding round and continued interest in fitness trackers in the UAE.
