Emirates has extended its sponsorship of Arsenal until 2033, keeping the Dubai airline’s name on the club’s shirts, training kit and stadium in a five-year deal reported to be worth up to £70m a season.
The extension covers the front-of-shirt slot, the training kit and the naming rights to the Emirates Stadium — the arrangement that has defined Arsenal’s commercial image since 2006, when the club moved into its new home and Emirates signed on. The stadium has answered to the name Emirates for two decades; it will keep answering to it until 2033.
Arsenal has not confirmed the value, but The Times and SportsPro report the deal is worth up to £70m a season, with bonuses that could add as much as £15m depending on domestic and European results. At that level it would be the most lucrative shirt sponsorship in the Premier League.
The Emirates-Arsenal deal in numbers

The timing follows Arsenal’s best season in a generation. The club ended a 22-year wait for the Premier League title in 2025-26; the reported price of this renewal suggests Emirates noticed.
Emirates has been an integral part of this success, standing alongside us throughout this journey and sharing in the defining moments, challenges and successes that have shaped our club over the past two decades.
— Richard Garlick, Arsenal chief executive
The partnership’s fixtures continue. The Emirates Cup pre-season tournament returns on Sunday with Borussia Dortmund visiting, and the two sides have made a promotional film, featuring former defender Per Mertesacker, to mark 20 years together.
A Dubai brand at the heart of world football
For Emirates’ home market, this is the airline’s most visible piece of advertising: the shirt of the English champions, on screens in every market Emirates flies to. It also keeps the airline’s wider sports portfolio intact — Emirates lends its name to the NBA Cup, and its recent consumer pushes have been closer to home, from free Starlink Wi-Fi on flights to crypto payments for tickets. Emirates has sponsored Arsenal for 20 years, through a stadium move, a trophy drought and now a title; the new deal runs to 2033, by which point the partnership will be nearly three decades old.
What is the Emirates Cup?
Arsenal’s annual pre-season tournament, hosted at the Emirates Stadium since 2007. Borussia Dortmund play in this year’s edition on Sunday.
Will the Emirates Stadium keep its name?
Yes. The naming rights are part of the extended agreement, so the Emirates Stadium keeps its name through 2033.
