Em Sherif Deli Al Ain has opened as the Lebanese brand’s third UAE location and its first outside Dubai. The new branch is at Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre and is open throughout the day.
The opening adds a new dining option to Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre, which opened in March 2026 near Al Jahili Park. What’s On previously reported that the centre’s restaurants and shops would open in stages.
Em Sherif Deli Al Ain brings Lebanese favourites to Al Mutarid
The menu includes shawarma, mezze, sandwiches, homemade desserts, speciality drinks and Mouneh, the Lebanese pantry staples traditionally prepared for storing and sharing. The deli is designed for breakfast, takeaway, lunch and dinner rather than requiring a ceremonial appointment with a tablecloth.
The Al Ain space has 50 seats, with 33 indoors and 17 outdoors. Natural textures, blonde wood, earthy colours and warm lighting continue the relaxed look used across the concept. The official Em Sherif website describes the deli as an all-day format with ready-to-eat dishes, takeaway packaging and a dedicated Mouneh range.
Chef Yasmina Hayek said each location has its own character, adding that the team hopes to become part of Al Ain’s daily rhythm and local community.
The Al Ain opening follows Em Sherif Deli branches at One Central and Galleria Mall in Dubai. The concept began at London’s Harrods Food Hall in January 2022 before expanding to Beirut, Kuwait, Lebanon and the UAE. Its format is built around ready-to-eat dishes rather than the longer set-menu experience associated with the wider Em Sherif restaurant brand. Em Sherif Deli’s earlier Dubai expansion brought the concept to Galleria Mall and Al Barsha.
Em Sherif Deli Al Ain is now open at Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre, 49 Al Youlat Street, Al Mu’tarid, Al Ain. The centre lists free parking and valet services.
