Dubai Parks and Resorts will reopen on October 7 after more than six months closed, bringing Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai Resort and The World of Riverland back into service. The Dubai Parks and Resorts reopening also adds bowling and Lamborghini Automobili racing simulators at Riverland.
Dubai Parks and Resorts reopening brings new Riverland attractions
The destination closed in March. Its return comes ahead of the UAE’s cooler outdoor season and the October mid-term break, giving families a few more options than negotiating another afternoon indoors.
Riverland’s new additions are aimed at visitors who prefer competition to rollercoasters. The bowling attraction and Lamborghini simulators join existing activities including go-karting, archery, axe-throwing, mini golf and arcade games across Riverland’s four themed areas.
Tickets to Motiongate Dubai and Real Madrid World start from AED 295, while entry to Riverland starts from AED 25, according to The National and Gulf News. The official Dubai Parks and Resorts website is taking visitors to its park information and ticketing pages for booking details.
What is open at Dubai Parks and Resorts?
Motiongate Dubai has 29 rides and attractions based on DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate. Real Madrid World, which opened in April 2024, has more than 40 experiences across Champions Avenue, Celebration Plaza and Stars Avenue.
Legoland Dubai Resort includes Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park. The theme park has more than 40 rides and attractions, while the water park has 20 slides and water attractions. Visitors can also stay at Legoland Hotel, Lapita Dubai Parks and Resorts or T-Rex Glamping.
The reopening joins a busy October calendar for Dubai attractions, with Dubai Safari Park’s eighth season opening on October 12. Dubai Parks and Resorts has not yet published a full schedule for every new-season experience, so visitors should check the official site before travelling.
The reopening was described by Fernando Eiroa, chief executive of Dubai Holding Entertainment, as a return of rides, family attractions, dining and staycation options across the destination. The parks will reopen on October 7, 2026.
