DJI has launched the Osmo 360 II at IFA 2026, with native 8K video at 60fps, improved low-light capture and replaceable lenses. The second-generation 360 camera also adds 120MP HDR photos, 105GB of usable built-in storage and a larger battery.

DJI Osmo 360 II brings faster 8K video
The Osmo 360 II uses dual 1/1.1-inch square HDR sensors and records 360-degree video at up to 8K/60fps. DJI and the launch coverage list up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range, 10-bit video and D-Log M for footage that needs colour grading afterwards.
The camera can also shoot 120MP HDR panoramic stills, 16K timelapses and 8K/120fps Vortex footage. A new Spotlight Follow mode tracks a subject in 360-degree footage before exporting a conventional 4K video.
Replaceable lenses address the obvious weak spot
Both lenses have a harder coating and can be replaced if they are damaged. Engadget reports that a replacement pair costs €39, which is a less dramatic repair bill than replacing a camera because it met a rock while mountain biking.
DJI’s AI SuperNight 2.0 system is intended to produce cleaner footage in low light. The battery rises from 1,950mAh to 2,150mAh, although rated endurance remains 100 minutes when recording at 8K/30fps. The camera reaches 80 per cent charge in 22 minutes with a suitable charger.
The camera weighs 183g, has 105GB of usable built-in storage and is waterproof to 10 metres without a case. It works with DJI’s Mimo app, DJI Studio and compatible OsmoAudio microphones.
UAE price and availability
The official DJI UAE site lists the first-generation Osmo 360, but does not show a UAE price for the Osmo 360 II. Microless lists the Adventure Combo at AED 3,295.75 including VAT, with stock shown when checked. That is a retailer listing, not an official DJI UAE launch price.
DJI has not published a UAE release date. European pricing starts at £509 for the Standard Combo and £639 for the Adventure Combo in the UK, according to Engadget. The camera’s arrival gives the Insta360 X6 a newer rival, with lens repair now part of the comparison rather than an afterthought.
