In its announcement, Belkin has unveiled two UltraCharge Pro power banks with semi-solid-state BoostSolid Cell batteries, priced at 249 AED and 299 AED in the UAE. The new models debut at IFA 2026 and are due to reach Belkin, Amazon and selected retailers from September.

Belkin UltraCharge Pro brings semi-solid-state cells to power banks

BoostSolid Cell adds a gel-like layer alongside the liquid electrolyte used in conventional batteries. Belkin says the design allows slimmer hardware, stable charging between 0°C and 40°C, and a lifespan of up to three times longer than other power banks. The company’s footnote defines that claim as retaining up to 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles, with a five-year estimate based on one full cycle every two days.

The battery system uses analogue and digital temperature sensors that check conditions every 250 milliseconds and can interrupt charging when operating limits are exceeded. Belkin also says the range has been tested for nail puncture, high temperatures, extreme cold, drops, impacts and vibration, and is designed to meet UL2056:2025 requirements and TSA carry-on guidance.

Belkin UltraCharge Pro 10K power bank with display and USB-C ports

Two Belkin UltraCharge Pro models, from 249 AED

The 5,000mAh Slim Magnetic Power Bank is 8.8mm thick and supports Qi2 wireless charging at up to 15W. Its USB-C port reaches 22.5W under the SFC charging protocol and up to 20W under USB Power Delivery. It costs 249 AED and comes in black or sand.

The 10,000mAh model costs 299 AED and adds a display showing battery level, output and thermal information. It supports up to 60W USB-C Power Delivery, with two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and up to 15W pass-through charging. Belkin says it can charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in about 24 minutes in its internal testing.

Both models use metal construction, include a braided USB-C cable and are listed for September 2026 availability. Belkin’s announcement does not give a UAE retailer or a specific local on-sale date, so the AED prices are the useful part for now. That leaves the usual question for a new power bank: whether the shop page appears before the battery warning does.

Belkin has previously launched Galaxy S26 accessories in the UAE and the market already has high-capacity alternatives such as this Anker 25,000mAh power bank. The new UltraCharge Pro models will be shown at IFA 2026 in Hall 3.2, booth 117.
