Al Tayer Motors has been appointed the exclusive importer-distributor for Kia in the United Arab Emirates.
Gulf News reported that the companies confirmed the appointment on Monday, 31 August 2026.
Al Tayer Motors will run Kia sales, service, parts and after-sales across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Premier Motors, described by Gulf News as Al Tayer Motors’ Abu Dhabi operation, will cover Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The split is set out in the companies’ statement on ZAWYA: Al Tayer Motors oversees Kia in Dubai and the Northern Emirates; Premier Motors handles Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Existing Kia warranties continue
Existing Kia warranties, service agreements and after-sales support will continue without interruption and will be fully honoured by Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors, the statement says.

EV and commercial models already on the slate
Kia’s UAE portfolio, the statement says, spans passenger vehicles, SUVs, electric vehicles, commercial vehicles and pickup trucks. The brand recently introduced the PV5, with more launches planned this year.

Al Tayer Motors was established in 1982 and, according to the statement, employs more than 3,100 people, with sales, service and parts centres in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Its current brands include Ford, Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover, Ferrari, Maserati, Ford Trucks, Foton, VinFast and DEEPAL. In Abu Dhabi those brands are represented through Premier Motors.
