Intersec Saudi Arabia returns to Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from 29 September to 1 October. The 7th edition brings 380+ exhibitors from 36 countries and is set to host 27,000+ visitors.
It runs under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Interior, and in association with the General Directorate of Civil Defense. The focus: practical security, fire protection, safety and policing for a region building giga-projects at speed.
Dates, venue and who’s attending
Intersec Saudi Arabia opens tomorrow at RICEC and runs for three days. The show spans Halls 1–7 with a purpose-built outdoor area. It’s the largest edition to date, with a strong international line-up.
- 29 September to 1 October, Riyadh
- 380+ exhibitors from 36 countries
- 27,000+ expected visitors
- Halls 1–7 plus outdoor area at RICECThe scale matters for UAE teams planning cross-border projects. Riyadh is a short hop from the Emirates, and the one-hour time difference keeps scheduling simple. Two flagship summits with CPD credits
This year’s conference programme is built around two tracks tailored to the Saudi market: the Future Security Summit, powered by ASIS International – Dhahran Chapter, and the Fire Protection & Technology Summit. All sessions are CPD-certified for the first time.
- Future Security Summit: mega-event security, cybersecurity, homeland security, aviation security
- Fire Protection & Technology Summit: fire codes, high-rise safety, airport fire prevention
- CPD-certified sessions across both days
The Future Security Summit will bring regional experts and global voices to discuss technologies, partnerships and policy. On day one, a panel on giga-project security includes King Salman Park Foundation and Red Sea Global. Another session, “Beyond Borders,” examines regional and global security cooperation with UNODC, Aramco, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and SAFE.
On the fire side, expect Saudi Civil Defense and the International Code Council to outline Saudi Building Code updates, plus NFPA delivering a dedicated programme on day two. Related: UAE smart-city policing use cases from Presight and Abu Dhabi Police. Useful context for public safety teams.
Why it matters for UAE businesses
Saudi giga-projects, smart cities and major events need trusted regional partners. Many UAE security integrators, resellers and consultants already support KSA builds and ongoing operations. Intersec Saudi Arabia is a practical place to see specifications, check compliance and meet decision-makers.
- Cross-border bids and JV opportunities
- Code updates and CPD for technical leads
- Product validation for high-rise, airport and perimeter projects
- Direct conversations with civil defence and regulatory stakeholders
For UAE buyers building home and workplace security stacks, the show’s focus aligns with what we’re seeing in Dubai this quarter: more AI at the edge, stronger identity, and tighter cloud controls. What’s on the floor
The exhibition spans five product sectors: Commercial & Perimeter Security, Homeland Security & Policing, Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health, and Cybersecurity. Expect command-and-control platforms, sensors, video analytics, access control, PPE, and fire systems.
- Commercial & Perimeter Security
- Homeland Security & Policing
- Fire & Rescue
- Safety & Health
- Cybersecurity
UAE visitors should prioritise interoperability demos, multi-site monitoring, and vendor roadmaps for 2026. Programme highlights to mark in your diary
Several sessions stand out for regional teams tackling complex builds.
- Giga-projects security panel: tailored protection in environmentally conscious urban planning
- “Beyond Borders” session on regional and global cooperation
- Saudi Civil Defense keynote and Saudi Building Code update with the International Code Council
- High-rise safety lessons from Hong Kong Fire Services Department
- Airport fire prevention with King Fahd International Airport
Plan time with NFPA’s day-two programme if you own code compliance or risk. If you manage airport or transport projects in the Emirates, the airport session should translate well to local SOPs. For adjacent innovation in the UAE, note how AI is now embedded in mobility and government communications.
