G-SHOCK’s New MR-G Drops in Deep Green, Lands in the UAE

G-SHOCK has launched the MRG-B2000BG-3A, a premium MR-G model that blends Japanese craft with serious toughness. It comes in a deep green “kurogane-iro” tone with gold accents, wrapped around a titanium case and band, and packs Tough Solar, Bluetooth and Multi-Band 6 for precise timekeeping.

What’s the headline for UAE buyers

The MRG-B2000BG-3A is part of the MR-G flagship line, designed and made in Japan. It uses a multi-component bezel and band finished with deep-layer hardening and DLC for scratch resistance, and is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Timekeeping stays accurate via Bluetooth or radio calibration, powered by solar. It’s available now in selected G-SHOCK stores and premium partner retailers across the UAE.

  • MR-G series, made in Japan
  • Titanium case and band
  • Deep green kurogane-iro with gold accents
  • Solar power, Bluetooth, Multi-Band 6
  • Sapphire crystal; Super Illuminator LED
  • On sale now in select UAE retailers

Design: kurogane-iro meets MR-G metalwork

G-SHOCK says the finish draws on the deep green hue iron takes when heated for traditional Japanese armour and helmets. The colourway is paired with subtle gold details for a restrained, formal look. The bezel and band are multi-piece, hardened, and DLC-coated to resist wear.

  • Kurogane-iro deep green tone inspired by heated ironwork
  • Gold accents for contrast
  • DLC and deep-layer hardening on bezel/band
  • Sapphire crystal with AR coating

This isn’t the loud, chunky G-SHOCK vibe. It’s a dress-leaning MR-G with an armour-inspired palette. The finishing process and materials should help the watch hold up to daily scrapes while keeping its sheen.

Timekeeping and power: set-and-forget accuracy

Inside, the MRG-B2000BG-3A uses Tough Solar to keep the battery topped up. Time is set automatically via two routes: Bluetooth to your phone or Multi-Band 6 radio calibration. There’s also dual-time support and automatic adjustment when you travel.

  • Tough Solar charging
  • Bluetooth time sync via smartphone
  • Multi-Band 6 radio calibration
  • Dual time with auto adjustment

For UAE travellers who hop time zones, that redundancy matters. If your phone is off, radio sync can still handle accuracy where signals reach; if you’re indoors or abroad, Bluetooth keeps it precise once paired.

Build and illumination: MR-G toughness, premium fit

The case and band are titanium, made in Japan, which keeps weight down while staying robust. G-SHOCK adds a Super Illuminator high-brightness LED for low-light legibility.

  • Titanium case and bracelet
  • Made in Japan manufacturing
  • Super Illuminator LED

Sapphire with anti-reflective coating rounds out the spec sheet. Combined with the DLC and deep-layer treatments, the B2000BG should age well, even if you wear it as a daily in Dubai heat.

Availability in the UAE

G-SHOCK confirms the MRG-B2000BG-3A is available now in selected G-SHOCK stores and at premium partner retailers across the UAE. Check your local boutique for stock. The brand hasn’t supplied official UAE pricing in the release.
