007: First Light Patch 1.1.0 Adds Two Missions and Three Weapons

007: First Light patch 1.1.0 adds two Escalation missions, three weapons, a new outfit, and fixes for over 200 reported issues.

007: First Light has received its first content update, with patch 1.1.0 now available to existing players on PS5, PC, and Xbox. The release begins IO Interactive’s planned post-launch support with new Tac Sim missions, equipment, and a substantial set of fixes.

The update follows the Year One content roadmap published in June. Its arrival is therefore the first scheduled step in that plan rather than an unexpected expansion of the game.

What does 007: First Light patch 1.1.0 add?

Patch 1.1.0 adds two three-tier Escalation missions called Workshop and Extraction Avenues, alongside three weapons and a new outfit. Escalation missions form the main playable addition, giving existing players two further assignments built around multiple tiers.

The weapons listed in the update are the Stormberg 50’cal handgun, the DRX-2 Machine Pistol, and the DRS-7 Silenced SMG. IO Interactive has not detailed any additional modes or missions beyond the two Escalations in this release.

According to VGC’s report on the first content update, the patch gives existing players immediate access to the new Tac Sim content. The available material does not establish whether any of the weapons or outfit appeared in another mode or earlier build, so their precise prior status remains unclear.

How large is the 007: First Light update?

The update is approximately 24GB on PS5, while its PC and Xbox downloads are under 4GB. IO Interactive has not provided an explanation for the considerable difference between the PlayStation download and the other versions.

The platform split is the most immediate practical consideration for players installing the patch. Despite the difference in download size, the supplied update details list the same headline missions, weapons, outfit, and fixes across PS5, PC, and Xbox.

What does patch 1.1.0 fix?

Patch 1.1.0 includes fixes and improvements for more than 200 issues, according to IO Interactive’s full patch notes. The studio says those issues were identified through community reports and internal playtesting.

The scale of that maintenance work makes the update broader than its two missions and equipment additions suggest. For existing players, the practical value will depend on whether the fixes address problems they encountered, while the Escalations provide the clearly defined new playable component.

IO Interactive describes the patch as containing “several fixes and improvements thanks to your feedback.” Further Year One content is planned under the previously announced roadmap, although the supplied information does not detail what the next update will contain or when it will arrive.
