A random story of robbery has been made newsworthy with an interesting little detail. TheTechStorm reports that about two days ago, a thief entered the Microsoft Mountain View Campus building. Only thing is – all he took five iPads. Nothing more.

For those wondering what iPads were doing at the Microsoft office, you need to keep in mind that Microsoft has been developing applications for the Apple platform lately and it makes sense why they would have the devices. Who knows, they probably even had some development unit of the next iPad which is bound to get the robber a fortune in the black market.

The surprising bit is that not a single Microsoft item was stolen, and one can make jokes about it all they want but there’s probably a reason based on the robber’s motivation itself.

What do you think?
