Confirms pricing and availability on the 13th of December.

It’s the news many of us have been waiting for. While Apple announced the availability of the iPhone 5 in most of the GCC countries for December 14th, we now have official confirmation from the largest telco in the UAE.

Etisalat announced today that pre-orders for iPhone 5 through their website will start on the 9th of December which is a Sunday. You will be able to pre-order the device in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities along with prepaid or post-paid plans. Unfortunately it seems that LTE might not make it at launch as the press release states 3G HSPA+ connectivity on these devices which we know are LTE capable. Etisalat has also revealed the pricing for iPhone 5 that starts at AED 2749 for 16GB, 3149 for 32GB and 3549 for 64GB. Press release follows after the images.
