Windows leader Steven Sinofsky leaves Microsoft

The guy responsible for Windows 7 and Windows 8 is no longer working for Microsoft.


The Verge is reporting that the executive in charge of Windows, Steven Sinofsky has left Microsoft. Mr. Sinofsky took lead of Windows project after controversial Windows Vista and brought Windows 7 and recently 8 released on time. He also expected to appear at the Microsoft Windows 8 launch event that will be held in Dubai next week. On his departure, Mr. Sinofsky said:

It is impossible to count the blessings I have received over my years at Microsoft. I am humbled by the professionalism and generosity of everyone I have had the good fortune to work with at this awesome company
