The iPhone cover that’s good enough to eat

To munch or not to munch?

If there’s ever an apocalypse or natural disaster, here’s one way to make sure you always have a little survival snack on hand.

Available for 3,818 Yen, the Survival Senbei iPHone 5 case is probably the most imaginative (and somewhat useless) iPhone cover we’ve seen yet. Made out of senbei, which is a type of rice cracker, the case is hand-crafted by a Japanese senbei artisan named Mariko. Because each case is meticulously created, only three cases are made per day. That’s not quite close to Apple’s standard of production, but we’re willing to overlook that.
