Samsung’s Android and 3G-powered camera could change everything.

Samsung Galaxy Camera is an intriguing new device from Samsung, not only because it is quite innovative and something the photography segment hasn’t seen, but also because it’s a product that doesn’t have a very clearly define market to target to. It’s the world’s first Android-powered digital camera complete with 3G connectivity, a powerful point and shoot lens and literally everything you can do with an Android device except make a call. It’s quite robust and things like Dropbox on it make it surprisingly useful for photographers in ways they didn’t really envision things, but in the video below you can check out our hands-on of the product at the launch event last week.

Is it a product that appeals to you in terms of innovation or will you stick to your DSLR/Galaxy S3? Sound off in the comments.

It won’t make a 3G voice call, sure, but it will make and receive Skype calls over 3G data, or Wi-Fi… or other VoIP apps… it’s a modern-day camera phone! :-)
