Google updates search result page

More spiffy, we guess.

Good webpage design comes with the focus of achieving simplicity and accessibility. Which is what Google is hoping it is doing with its new search result page.

The updated design aims to create a “consistent search experience across [a] wide variety of devices and screen sizes”. If you use a tablet or a smartphone, you might have noticed the new design already. For PC users, the update will be rolled out from today onwards.

The new search result page moves the options from the left of the page to the top, giving the page a “bit more breathing room, and more focus on the answers you’re looking for, whether from web results or from a feature like the Knowledge Graph.” The advanced tools are hidden under the “Search tools” option.

The Google blog says the update will be rolled out in the USA first, but we at Tbreak are already seeing the new page.

I miss one thing where I could search an image by the exact resolution, I got a lot of wallpapers for my laptop like that and now that feature is gone and I can no longer get an image of the exact size i want :(
