We pick the best and the weirdest from GITEX 2012

While we got to see some pretty awesome tech at GITEX, there were a few things that left us scratching our heads. Nevertheless, these fun things certainly add to the spirit of GITEX

Knock-off products

Whats a good trade-show without some knock-off products? We spotted quite a few and posted the best ones here.

DIY Robots

Not only can you make your own robots now but you can make them dance OPPAN GANGNUM STYLE.

African dancers

Yes, we know that African countries wanted to promote themselves at GITEX but really…

Cloud Guy

We caught a fleeting glimpse of a cloud floating by, and we don’t mean in the sky. Some poor soul was wandering the halls of GITEX dressed as a cloud, obviously to promote cloud computing and security. We wanted to grab a quick photo as proof, but sadly he/she evaporated in to thin air before we could whisk out our cameras.

Press Releases

The sheer number of press releases we received during GITEX broke our Exchange Server. Really.

Sadly Missing from GITEX

What’s up Apple? Couldn’t you have worked around your schedule a little bit and get us the iPhone 5 officially released in the region during the biggest tech show in the region?
