Will co-brand with Samsung.

CNET is reporting that Google is developing a 10-inch class tablet and moreover, will partner with Samsung to release it.

It may be remembered that Google has, till now, partnered with Asus on the Nexus 7 tablet. This will be the first tablet partnership for Google and Samsung.

Display specs reported on the new tablet make it sound pretty sweet – The 2,560×1,600 display will have a PPI (pixels per inch) of about 299, a higher pixel density than Apple’s third gen iPad.

Not much else is known about the new tablet at this time, but it will be a high-end device compared to Google’s $199 Nexus 7 and rumoured upcoming $99 tablet. This price point and included specs (at least those we know) will make the new device a ready rival to the iPad.

At the time of writing this, Google has not yet made a comment.
