Lighter and to support native 24fps film speed.

Sony are gearing up to release the HMZ-T2 Personal 3D Viewer, an update to the HMZ-T1 model they released earlier this year (check our review here).

The HMZ-T2 Personal 3D Viewer sports a few changes, including now weighing 330g, 24fps support, an additional game mode, as well as the option to (finally) use your own headphones. The new model also sports a wider forehead pad and better adjustments for the head straps, hopefully making it a bit more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The retail price hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s rumored that the unit will sell in Japan at around $900.
