Things aren’t looking so ‘likeable’ over at fort Facebook.
The company had three of their top executives announce their departure (ironically on their Facebook profiles) from the social network giant, with Ethan Beard, Director of Platform Partnerships being the first to announce his departure, followed by Katie Mitic, Platform Marketing Director and finally Jonathan Matus, Mobile Platform Marketing Manager.
“With great humility and excitement I am announcing that I’ve decided that for me, the time has come to embark on a new road, a new adventure. I’ve decided to leave Facebook to explore new directions and entrepreneurial ideas. I’ve had the pleasure of shipping some amazingly disruptive products with some of the most brilliant, hard working people in Tech. I’m exceptionally proud of the momentum we’ve built in a little over a year and the value we are delivering to mobile developers every day.” posted Matus.
Facebook has been struggling to cope with the attention it’s been getting since going public, and investors are already worrying if the company will be able to fulfill its rather lofty ambitions following a disappointing market performance in recent weeks. No announcements have been made yet on who will be replacing the three executives.
