Bladepad could change your iPhone gaming experience

A Kickstarter to make mobile phone gaming epic?

Bladepad is the latest Kickstarter project that might get your iPhone screen stabbing fingers in a tizzy. It is a combination of a detachable game console controller and a protective case. It works by first connecting to your iPhone via Bluetooth. The gamepad then slides out from beneath your phone upon being placed in its special casing.

The Bladepad comes with dual analog sticks, full console controller buttons, micro USB charging port, Bluetooth connection and protective casing.

You can be an early adopter and receive your own shiny Bladepad by pledging a minimum of $69 to the project which aims to make $55000 to get off the ground.

While a console style attachment for the iPhone is sure to make my time playing Infinity Blade a whole lot less nerve wracking, there is no word on what IOS games will eventually support the device. At this time, Bladepad only goes as far as saying they are ‘in talks with several major game studios’.
