Apple leads in market cap, bigger than Microsoft, Google, Facebook and Amazon combined

We know they are the biggest thing in the universe but here’s some context.

Tbreak has already reported how Apple is now the most valuable company of all time (perhaps all timelines and multiverses too) but it helps to drill in some perspective. Website MacTrast spotted a tweet from user Kontra that gives us some context.

As of this morning, value by market cap,

Microsoft: $256.78B, Google: $221.48B, Facebook: $41.43B, Amazon:  $111.26B with a total of $630.95B. The B stands for billion of course (but if you guessed bazillion that would be okay too).

Meanwhile, Apple currently chimes in at $632.56B.

This piece of information blows this mere mortals mind. And considering that Apple’s market cap was only $9.29B in 1999, should have now been thoroughly and utterly successful in making us all feel inadequate.

Oh well…when is that new iPhone coming out? I have money to give Apple.
