A beautiful combination of style, power and performance.
The Audi A4 is, arguably, one of the most popular cars they have thanks to varying combinations of affordable entry level models, to the powerful S4 models, to the almighty RS4 models that are feared and revered on any street in the world.
Today I’ll be looking at the all new 2013 Audi A4 that was recently launched for the region. Starting at AED 177K, the new A4 S-Line puts itself squarely around the likes of the Infiniti G37, the Lexus IS 300 and, more importantly, the BMW 335i.
The new A4 looks very similar to the previous generation model, but heavily facelifted to bring it in line with the new design queues of the new A6 and A8. In my opinion, though, the A4 looks sharper and much more, refined.
The front of the new A4 has very straight lines, both in terms of the general fascia as well as the headlights. While the front grill remains the same as pretty much all Audis, the lights get a more serious look. Certainly the razor edged daytime running LED strip is more elegant yet authoritative than the curvy LED bulbs on the old A4.
The rest of the exterior remains identical to the previous-gen A4, with only the taillights seeing a revamp. We now have a double cluster of LED lights near the top, with clear straight strips for the reverse and indicator lights in the middle.
While there isn’t much of a change between the latest and previous generation, the new facelift is certainly for the better, and manages to make the new A4 look the best ever to date.
