Or at least that’s how this TV advertisement make it out to be.
Apple has roped in Hollywood director Martin Scorsese to talk up Siri in a TV commerical.
The commercial aired yesterday in the US, and has the director rapidly scheduling appointments, reviewing calendar, locating friends and checking local traffic with Siri quickly following it up on every command. The clip concludes with Scorsese telling Siri that “she’s going places”.
This isn’t the first time Apple has enlisted a movie celeb for its adverts. Previously, the company also employed Samuel L. Jackson, Zooey Deschanel and John Malkovich to say nice things about Siri.
