Device to hopefully return next week following legal battles with Apple.

In a move that will surprise absolutely no one, Google has removed the Galaxy Nexus from its Play store, adding a ‘coming soon’ button instead.

The move comes as the legal battle between Apple and Samsung heats up, with Apple pushing for a ban on the device for infringing various patents including one for a ‘universal search’. Both Google and Samsung are expected to file an appeal to reevaluate the patent so that its products can return to stores.

Google has posted that the Galaxy Nexus should return to the Play store next week, and will be updated with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
