Welcome to the PC+ era.

Lenovo introduces three new laptops in their Dubai office today- the X1 Carbon Ultrabook, the T430U Ultrabook and the X131E Notebook. The X1 Carbon sits on the top of the Ultrabook range with an Ivy Bridge Processor, 14″ HD+ screen, SSD drive, backlit keyboard, glass touchpad and 3G connectivity. Weighing in at just 1.3kg, the X1 carbon is made up of carbon fiber that makes it lighter and more durable than competing aluminum based Ultrabook. It also looks beautiful with slick with thickness ranging from 8mm to 18mm.

Next up, Lenovo showcased the “most powerful ” Ultrabook modelled T430U which is targeted towards the enthusiast. Weighing a pound more, the T430U features a dedicated GPU with 1GB VRAM and hard drive capacities of unto 1TB. Needless to say, this Ultrabook will have no problems playing Diablo 3 in all it’s glory. for users that love to upgrade, the T430U allows you to get inside by simply unscrewing the back cover.

Last but certainly not the least, Lenovo also introduced one of their toughest laptop- the AMD CPU based X131E targeted towards the students. With rubber edges, dustless fans and a lid that can be flipped open over 50,000 times, this one should hopefully survive all the wear and tear that school and college going kids love to throw at their device.

The following video by Lenovo VP and GM for ThinkPad Business Unit, Mr. Dilip Bhatia, introduces all three models. Final specifications were not disclosed and neither was the pricing but expect all models to be available within summer.
