More to be revealed at Google I/O.

Building up to the Google I/O Conference later today, Google decided to casually let people know what their next iteration of Android is going to be – Jellybean.

The revelation came via a new sculpture on the company’s campus, which showed a transparent droid filled with jellybeans, which joined the ranks of the other Android sculptures: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, and Ice Cream Sandwich.

While the name may have been confirmed, it’s still debatable whether Jellybean will be named as version 4.1 or not, given that ICS is currently pegged at 4.0 but still not as widely distributed as we’d like it to be.

Stay tuned for more updates as we draw closer to the Google I/O Conference.
