New version might be the default Android browser in the future.
The ever popular browser Chrome is now set to invade the mobile screen, as Chrome for Android has now left the beta stage this week.
A blogpost from Google confirms that when the browser was shown at the Google I/O conference earlier today on Jellybean, it was out of beta stage. This new update will be adding a lot of performance fixes and stability issue fixes, as well as “minor UI adjustments, especially for tablets.”
It’s assumed that once it’s completely set and done, it will replace the default Android browser on Jellybean and will that way get a lot of market share.
