New OS shows slick new interface and redesigned on-screen keyboard.
At the Blackberry World 2012 keynote yesterday, RIM teased attendees with a quick clip of Blackberry 10, the company’s major facelift to the Blackberry OS.
While the video doesn’t reveal too much, it does demonstrate a swift new interface as well as a more polished look and feel. Above all, it features a better keyboard that automatically suggests words above common letters that you can ‘flick’ upwards when composing messages. And if you’re one of those people who’s always tapping the wrong letter, Blackberry 10 has a fix for that – the OS automatically adjusts the keyboard’s rendering so you’re less likely to tap the wrong letter again.
Have a look at the short clip below and decide for yourself – is Blackberry 10 going to be the one thing to bring RIM back into the market?
