Feature rich, performance filled.

Good: In addition to Thunderbolt there are lots of USB 3.0 and SATA ports along with easy and stable overclocking.
Bad: May seem completely overpriced if you don't have a Thunderbolt drive to use.

The BIOS is similar to the UEFI version we have seen in most recent MSI motherboards, in the pictures below you can see how easy it is to navigate through it.


For testing the MSI Z77A-GD80 the following testbed was used:

Note: For the MSI Z68A-GD80 all the components remain the same, except the RAM, which was Kingston HyperX 4GB-DDR3 2144MHz and the graphics card which was a Zotac GTX 580 AMP! Edition.
