A Foxconn employee apparently confirmed the release month to a South Korean newspapaer.
A Foxconn employee has reportedly confirmed the release month of the anticipated iPhone 5 to a South Korean newspaper called Maeil Business.
Apparently, the human resource head of Foxcoon’s Taiyuan factory, where the iPhone 5 will be manufactured, told the newspaper that the iPhone 5 “will be around October”, and that they have “just got the order” to produce them.
The newspaper then tried to follow it up with Foxconn’s head of publicity, but were told that the head was on “vacation”.
One of the many iPhone 5 mockups. Looks kinda nice.
There is a lot of anticipation and guess work going on for the iPhone 5, which is typical of any Apple product launch. So far, rumors suggest that the new iPhone will have a slightly larger screen size and will feature a new, unique design.
