iPhone 5 out in June?

According to Foxconn recruiter, yes!

Foxconn hiring people for making products in their factory is nothing new, but when you want to suddenly hire 18,000 people at once, people start asking questions. Now TV Tokyo also took notice of this fact and conducted a quick interview with one of the recruiters at Foxconn as to the reason behind such a large increase in the workforce.

As reported by Macotakara, the interview which was aired by TV Tokyo on 2nd April, shows the recruiter saying that reason for hiring so many people at once is because “this is for iPhone 5 which will be sold in June,” as per the Google translation of the original Chinese statement.

Apple has traditionally released all the iPhones in June or July, with the iPhone 4S being the only exception to this rule, being released in October 2011. If this rumor is true, then the next iPhone will be released 8 months after the last model; not an unusual move by Apple.
