Control your dreams with Remee

I believe I can fly…

Ever wake up from a dream wishing that it could have ended differently? Or do you want to blitz through your dreams hurtling purple balls of plasma?

Well that looks to be a reality soon with Remee, the REM enhancing Lucid Dreaming Mask. Remee looks like an ordinary eye mask that you’d wear to block out light when you sleep, but hidden under the soft fabric are a series of red LEDs that can be programmed to flash a particular pattern while you’re sleeping. The theory behind this is that your brain recognizes the pattern and triggers a conscious response while not actually waking you up from your dream. So in essence, you’ll be aware that you’re dreaming and be able to control what happens in your dreams.

This may all sound like the stuff of fantasy, but the Duncan Frazier and Steve McGuigan from Bitbanger Labs are dead serious about it. There’s a Kickstarter campaign currently going on to raise $35,000 for the project, and the duo aren’t too far away from their target.

Head over to this page to check out a video of how Remee works and part with your cash!
