The blue screen of death takes on a whole new meaning


There’s certainly plenty of buzz building up about Windows 8, both good and bad. And while the OS still has a while to go before it becomes commercially available, that’s not stopping developers from building some rather interesting apps for the new OS.

Today is no different, with public safety solutions company Modularis demonstrating a police car powered by Windows 8. Featuring voice controls as well as a tablet app, the car’s lights and sensors can be controlled from the app, and can even be instructed to open the doors automatically.

All I could think of after watching the below video was Knight Rider going “KIT, CALL FOR BACKUP!”
