I’ve been to Harrods in London a few times, and it’s really not as mind-blowing as people make it out to be. To me it seemed more of a glorified version of Paris Gallery, but I’m sure there are a few people who will debate me on that.

Stocking all things opulent and unnecessary, Harrods is once again making a name for itself by housing a plasma TV from Panasonic that retails close to $1 million. Panasonic’s 152″ TH-152UX1W is usually reserved for commercial purposes, and features a host of incredible things like displaying 4,096 x 2,160 pixels resolution and being 3D-ready.

To be honest, I think that’s just a little bit over the top, even for me. I certainly wouldn’t want something that large upstaging my Swarovski-encrusted Blackberry.
